HR Tech World conference to return to London this March
HR technology conference HR Tech World is returning to London for its fifth anniversary.
Taking place at the ExCel in London on March 21 and 22, the two-day conference will focus on the Future of Work, innovations in HR, and workplace management software.
Buyer-wise, HR Tech World is Europe's largest international enterprise HR show, decision-makers from over 120 coutries represented at last year's event.
More than 130 speakers are scheduled over the two days, including well-known educationalist Sir Ken Robinson, West Ham CEO Baronness Karren Brady and leading global economist Dr Daniel Thorniley.
HR Tech World also sees the return of disruptHR, the conference’s startup contest. However this year’s concept has been changed slightly from previous years.
Ten startups will compete to start with a panel of judges choosing the top five to advance. The overall winner will receive a £15,000 sponsorship for a future HR Tech World event. Five runners-up from the initial event will also be chosen to give a pitch and Q&A session.
Previous winners of disruptHR include Tandem HR Solutions, Arctic Shores, and Clustree, with several past contestants having gone on to raise large funding rounds or be acquired. These include Apploi, which raised $7.4 Million in funding and TalentBin which raised $3.2 million and was acquired by Monster in 2014.
Conference CEO Marc Coleman said “More than just the competition, disruptHR is about bringing together under one roof new and innovative solutions guaranteed to wow and to do what it takes to meet the challenges of a fast moving world where innovation, creativity and flexibility are key to success.”
